FPPC EVENTS

The 5th Annual - 2009 FPPC Technology Summit
Building on a successful technology exchange last year, FPPC announces a Fifth Annual Technology Summit on August 26th-28th, 2009. The venue for the conference event will be The Loews Don CeSar Beach Resort in St. Petersburg, Florida.

The theme of this year's symposium will be renewable energy at the farm level with a focus on the conversion of biomass to useable energy forms. Project managers will provide an update on the latest status of their pilot project demonstrations.

This technology exchange program has been designed with ample opportunity to interact with principal investigators of farm scale projects and will provide a key networking opportunity with recognized experts from government, industry and universities.

Once again this year, virtual tours to FPPC's pilot projects across the nation will be available. These video presentations allow participants to tour multiple project sites from various states.

Who should attend?

Conservationists, regulators, agri-business leaders, growers, researchers and technology providers interested in nutrient reduction, renewable energy, and organic fertilizer at dairy, swine and poultry farm operations.
